My camera

Well we are up north right now and they had a blizzard here. My husband forgot to bring my camera in from the car and by the time he got it for me it broke. Its so cold here that the plastic door snapped in half on it. Looks like I need a new one

Power

Got up this morning with Logan at 5 am. The weird thing was our baby monitors weren't working but lucky my mommy instinct was! So I head up to his room and his heat fan is still running (his room is very drafty) however his light wont turn on. In fact I soon discovered we have random power outage! Some lights worked some didn't. So I woke up Dave at 6 and told him to check the breakers. But none are tripped? Thats when we discovered that it is so random that one outlet will be out on the left but not on the right. Ok that is FREAKY! So we called an electrician and he told us to call the power company. Of course the important things aren't working like the furnace or the well pump, but random unnecessary things are like the Fish tank. So we start the wood stove up and warm the house to a more comfortable temp. They come out at 8 am (told Dave he had to be late to work) and as they are looking around our neighbor drives up to tell the workers that his house is the same. So off they go to his house (right after they turn off all the power to ours). At 9:30 all the power comes back on, and Dave heads to work. What a way to start the morning!

Our Strong Willed Child

I thought I would share with you what its like living with a true strong willed child. Keep in mind that I was a preschool teacher for 10 years so to me she really isn't that bad. However she does have her bad times. Here are her top most difficult times so far:

Eating an entire tub of margarine
Breaking eggs over the piano
Smearing red jello over the carpet
covering her entire room in poop and herself and teeth
Killing frog for fun till we told her if she kills any more she will eat them (teaching respectful hunting)
Sneaking out of her room at night to steal food
Dumping out the entire hall closet
Sneaking out of her room at night to play (we now have an alarm on her door so no more sneaking lol)
Trying to take her brother out of his crib at 1 week old (we now have a lock on his door to keep him safe)
Painting the entire computer room in kids paint.. floor, walls, computers, couch, everything
and now
cutting 90% of the christmas ornaments strings off
